Phantom International
From setra.in
The Phantom or Phantom International stations are so called because at certain times of the day, usually during the morning or evening peak periods, the majority of trains running through them appear to stop as if they are actually at a station. A Phantom station gets it's International status simply by the number of trains that stop there.
Known Phantom Stations
- Phantom International Main located east of London Bridge affecting trains approaching London on the South Eastern Main Line.
- Phantom International South located between Sydenham Hill and Herne Hill on the Chatham Main Line affecting trains approaching London Victoria.
